Pick & Plant A ripple-like light that breathes gently into everyday life.
When we moved to Taitung, there was a period of waiting while the house was being renovated.
During those days, we worked with the tools we had on hand, creating a small number of pieces little by little.At the same time, our children were preparing to transition to a new school.
What they looked forward to most each day was taking walks around our new home, collecting wildflowers and grasses along the way.These humble yet captivating plants were placed into vessels and quietly began to glow with a light that felt purely natural.
Whether in the middle of work or at the end of a tiring day, simply seeing them was enough to bring a sense of calm and gentle healing.It was within these everyday moments that Dozen found the inspiration to create Pick & Plant – Summer, a work that later became a finalist in the Taitung Craft Award.
Over the past five cycles of spring, summer, autumn, and winter, we have continued to live alongside these seemingly ordinary yet endlessly fascinating plants.
Through their seasonal changes, we witness shifting landscapes and emotions.For this reason, we named this series “Pick & Plant” —
to gather the tenderness offered by nature, and to plant it gently into everyday life.Sometimes, the most healing moments are not found in distant grandeur,
but in the quiet gifts of nature we pass by each day.

About Taitung Taitung is located on the eastern coast of Taiwan, between mountains and the Pacific Ocean. It is a place where life moves at a slower rhythm, surrounded by vast landscapes, open skies, and rich natural ecosystems. Living and working here allows us to stay closely connected to nature— to notice seasonal changes, wild plants along the roadside, and the quiet moments that often become the starting point of our creations.
